North American Butterfly Association Butterfly Count

Explore Rich Mountain with park interpreters and other butterfly experts to search for the most beautiful of the insects. Whether you're a novice or seasoned butterfly-watcher, your help will be appreciated and you're sure to gain new knowledge about the distribution and population of these winged beauties. Wear sturdy shoes and bring bug spray, drinking water, and snacks.

Kids' Day Camp (Ages 7-10)

Arkansas State Parks are well known for their quality summer day camps. This week, children ages 7-10 will have personal encounters with the natural world through guided hikes, interactive talks, crafts, and games. Roundtrip transportation is provided from the nearby town of Mena each day. Space is limited and reservations are required.

"Wings of Wonder" Butterfly Weekend

Hamfest

20th Annual Mountainfest
