NOTE: Queen Wilhelmina State Park Lodge is closed until spring 2014 while undergoing a major renovation. This includes the entire lodge including all 38 guest rooms, the restaurant, meeting room, restrooms, and lobby. While the lodge is closed, the park office is located near the entrance to the park campground. All other facilities in the park remain open. Named after a Dutch monarch, this renowned hostelry is a lodging tradition here in the Ouachita Mountains since 1898. Today's state park lodge is the third mountain inn to grace this same spectacular setting atop 2,681-foot Rich Mountain, Arkansas's second highest mountain.
Queen Wilhelmina Lodge is a one-of-a-kind hostelry in a singular setting. It offers you peace and quiet, breathtaking scenery of the surrounding Ouachita Mountains, delicious food and delightful park trails to explore as well as many other Arkansas tourist attractions. Open year-round, the lodge offers 38 guest rooms including two "Queen's Rooms" with wood burning fireplaces, and two "Regent's Rooms" with spa baths. You'll enjoy fine Southern fare in the Queen's Restaurant, and delightful shopping in the Queen's Treasury gift shop. A meeting room that can accommodate up to 55 persons is available upon advance request. Private dining can be arranged for groups up to 60 persons.
