Annual Events
Mountain Fest: The second weekend in September each year heralds the craft fair here in the park. Over 100 vendors participate each year. Entertainment, craft for kids, and food add spice to this exciting event.
Butterfly Festival: Begun in 2000, this event has soared to new heights each year. The festival occurs each Labor Day weekend. The Windmill Garden is the focal point for the event. Many different types of butterflies are available to be seen both in chrysalis, or pupa, stage as well as the mature insect. Crafts for kids are hands-on projects.

Hamfest: For over 30 years amateur radio buffs have met on the mountain the first weekend following Labor Day. A swap meet, license testing, meeting and visiting with friends new and old, are all a part of the festivities.
Christmas on the Mountain: December 21 each year signals the beginning of this traditional celebration. Special snacks straight from the Queen's Restaurant, crafts for all ages, a chance to bring in the tree for the lodge AND decorate it; these are all a part of this fun filled celebration. Santa brings the week long party to a close with his appearance on Christmas Eve.
RodRun: One week prior to Labor Day, in August, fans eagerly await the arrival of over 200 street rods and antique cars! For the 29th year, cars and drivers will be available to the public on Saturday as they "show and shine." An owner's meeting, and the awarding of prizes closes the RodRun on Sunday.
